Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry

Instructions

  1. Chop up all the veges and steak.

  2. Heat oil on BBQ or large pan / wok.

  3. Stir-fry the veges (in stages if it doesn’t all fit).

  4. Add salt and pepper while cooking.

  5. Set aside veges when cooked.

  6. Cook steak for 5-10 minutes, until brown and cooked through.

    Sauce

  7. Combine all ingredients other than cornstarch into a pot and bring to the boil.

  8. Mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water until dissolved.

  9. Add the cornstarch mixture to the sauce.

  10. Boil for 1-2 minutes or until sauce has thickened.

  11. Mix all meal ingredients together with the sauce in a large bowl.

  12. Plate up and garnish with sesame seeds.

Ingredients

  • Beef Steak - 500g

  • Broccoli - 2 heads

  • Capsicum - 2 whole

  • Bok Choy - 2 bunches

  • Mung Bean Sprouts - 150g

  • Onion - 1 whole

  • Olive Oil

  • Sesame Seeds

  • Salt and Pepper

    Sauce

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/8 cup brown sugar

  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic

  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon cornstarch
