Choc, Chia and Date Cookies

Ingredients

  • 120g butter or coconut oil, melted

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 egg, whisked

  • 1½ cups wholemeal flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 2 Tbsp cacao

  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 Tbsp LSA

  • 12 dried dates, finely chopped

  • ¹⁄³ cup dark choc chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180C and line an oven tray with baking paper.

  2. Mix butter and sugar in a bowl. Add in egg. Stir in remaining ingredients.

  3. Roll into balls and slightly flatten. Bake for 12 minutes. Leave to cool on an oven rack.
