Slow Cooked Italian Sausage Pasta Bake

Instructions

  1. Remove skin from sausages and chop each one into 6-8 pieces.

  2. Place sausages and all other ingredients (apart from peas/beans and pasta) in the slow cooked, mix well.

  3. Cook on low for 8 hours. 30 minutes before eating - add in pasta and beans and turn up to high.

Ingredients

  • 6 Italian sausages

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 3 carrots, chopped

  • 1/2 celery, chopped

  • 4 tsp garlic, minced

  • 3 cans tinned tomatoes

  • 1 cup beef stock

  • 1/2 tsp rosemary

  • 1/2 tsp basil

  • 1/2 tsp thyme

  • 1/2 tsp oregano

  • Salt and pepper

  • 200g frozen peas or edamame beans

  • 400g wholemeal pasta
