Nutty Fudge Brownie

Ingredients

  • 300g jar of cacao nut butter (eg. Nut Brothers or Fix and Fogg)

  • 4 eggs 

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar 

  • pinch of salt 

  • 1 large ripe banana, well mashed

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 2 Tbsp cacao powder

  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Scoop out nut butter into a microwave safe bowl, and microwave for 1 minute to soften.

  2. Beat eggs, sugar and salt in a bowl with an electric mixer until pale and creamy (on high for around 5 minutes).

  3. Add nut butter, banana, maple syrup, vanilla and cacao powder to the egg mix and beat on low for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Pour mix into a lined baking tray and bake for 15-18 minutes.

  5. Slice and store in the refrigerator.
